this quake has been fairly SPECIFICALLY predicted more than 6 months ago ...
Specificity: > Location >> specific> Timing >> fairly uncertain, based on 'events' in Indonesia which happened about a month ago > Magnitude >> specific at 8.9 !!

Update : Sendai has since had 6 aftershocks as March 14th,  including a 6.8, 7.1, 6.5, 6.5, 6.6 and 6.8 magnitude earthquake. The original killer earthquake has been revised up to a magnitude 9.0 and is believed to be the 4th strongest quake on record, since seismological record keeping started.
